Camaro:
- Engine is a big-block 496ci Blueprint crate engine with 600hp/615ft-lbs to the crank on 93 octane, installed in the car in 2013, but has less than 5,000 miles on it.
-Transmission is a GM700R4, 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission built in 2023 with PATC's (Performance Automotive Transmission Center) Level 5 700R4 Extreme Raptor components for 1000hp rating, and has around 1,000 miles on it. Torque converter is a PATC MegaRaptor-2 10 1/2 Inch Billet Converter (3 to 1 torque multiplication, carbon fiber clutch, 3,200 RPM stall, and 4th gear lock-up capability)
- B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter with line-lock braking solenoid installed.
- Aluminum drive shaft from PST, with 1350 Spicer U-joints, and Heavy Duty chromoly yokes.
- GM 12-Bolt rear-end with 31-spline Moser axles, C-Clip Eliminator kit, and Spool (4.56:1 gear ratio).
- Mono-leaf rear suspension with traction bars, all front suspension joints have been replaced with poly-urethane bushings.
- 4-wheel Disc Brakes with drilled and slotted rotors from Right Stuff Detailing.
- New 100amp alternator and new red top Optima battery as of July 2024.
- Battery relocated to the trunk to allow for the widest 2 row aluminum Radiator which fits between the frame rails.
- Nitrous bottle mount is in the trunk, though nitrous was never used on this engine and the plumbing/additional items are no longer installed on the car.
- Holley "Blue" electric fuel pump.
- Welded sub-frame connectors, 6-point roll cage, and 5 point harnesses for the front passengers, factory lap belts for any rear passengers.
- Weld Racing 5-spoke aluminum wheels.
- Fiberglass 2-inch cowl hood with locking hood pins.
- 3-inch dual exhaust with FlowMaster mufflers.
And though most everything works on the car, there are a few items which could be addressed by the new owner if they so desire.
- The outside door handles have a worn "strike" in the mechanism so sometimes you have to push down/in on the handle to open the door. (A new latch mechanism and handle would fix)
- The window handles are worn so you have to push in on them to roll the window up and down. (New window handles would fix)
-A few minor paint imperfections/rust bubbles are present, exterior appearance is in overall good to great condition.
-Passenger door closes, but could use some shimming for improved alignment.
- Exhaust leaks at the collector. (New collector flanges and gaskets would fix)
- Interior gauge lights do not work except for the light on the Tach. (Not sure if it is wiring or a fuse, I never tried to fix it)
- Brake booster is a little stiff after the car sat in storage for some time. (Could be replaced to restore braking feel/performance to brand new.)
- 4th gear converter lock-up function is not currently working. (Not sure if I have the external wiring wrong for the "factory" pigtail or the internal wiring is different than the factory schematic I used to wire the outside. Current transmission performance didn't bother me I haven't bothered with trying to trouble-shoot further.)
Most of these items have been present for a while now, but I have just not addressed them in the past 12 years of enjoying this car. Just to note, the car is non-powered steering, no A/C, and no radio, but it burns rubber well and goes 0 to 100 mph in under 7 seconds. It has decent street manners, but prefers the dragstrip to all other road conditions. Trailer details are below:
Trailer:
- 2002 Homesteader Hercules enclosed trailer
- 120V main plug with electric outlets throughout
- Rooftop HVAC unit with heat and A/C (A/C will trip 15amp circuits, but has no problem with 20amp circuits)
- 3500lb Warn winch with controller is included (will need either a battery or a battery charger to operate.)
- 2 Snap-On trailer tool boxes, additional shelfing, and heavy-duty 4 corner tie-downs also convey.
- All 4 tires replaced in 2021, easy lube axles greased less than 100 miles ago.
- Trailer brakes work and respond well to a trailer brake controller.
- Small generator (Honda GC160) could be sold with the trailer if buyer is interested, but is Not included in the sale at this time.
Cons:
- Some wood rot on the side walk-in door could use some TLC.
- Couple of rear marker lights are broken after slight contact with a tree limb.
- Trailer was previously home to a dirt track car so the red dirt is stained into much of the floor.
- Some of the weather stripping is beginning to deteriorate due to age.
Email or text 4three4 three16 four240 with any questions and to schedule a time to check out the car/make an offer. Clear titles on both the Camaro and the trailer $50k or best offer for everything. No tire kickers, the materials alone for building this car were well over $30k, but feel free to make a reasonable offer. Cash preferred and Certified check accepted. Trades discouraged, but will entertain offers. Thanks.
